General Counselling

DiverseDialogue takes a person-centred approach to supporting their client. They are trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help their clients experiencing issues such as:

  • anxiety

  • depression

  • relationship concerns

  • loss and grief

  • loss of pets and companion animals

  • intergenerational abuse and violence in multicultural families

  • past-trauma

  • assertiveness

  • personal boundaries

  • workplace concerns


LGBTIQA+SB

We provide a non-judgemental, queer-affirming and safe space for LGBTIQA+ individuals to discuss issues impacting them, including:

  • diverse relationships

  • sexual orientation, coming out and inviting in

  • experience of queer-phobia, discrimination, harassment and bullying

  • family relationships

  • sexualities and gender

  • self-esteem and isolation


Sex Therapy

Sex Therapy or Psychosexual Therapy is a type of talk therapy designed to support individuals who experience concerns relating to sexual function, intimacy and sexuality. We can help individuals with:

  • body image issues

  • concerns about desire or mismatched desire between partners

  • cultural issues relating to sex

  • difficulties with sex post-physical trauma or injury

  • lack of arousal

  • painful sex

  • penis size

  • premature and delayed ejaculation

  • relationship issues due to sex

  • sex and pornography addiction

  • sex related anxiety

  • sexuality identity and orientation

  • sexual trauma

  • sexual phobias


Fees

Individual Session - $160
Individual Session (Concession) - $110

Concession rates are available to full-time students and concession card holders.

Eligible private health cover holders may be able to claim rebate.


Location

We use a Telehealth platform for our sessions, so our clients can access them from the comfort of their homes.
