Meet Ryan
Ryan Hsu (They/He)
Ryan is a Registered Counsellor and Sexologist, originally from Taiwan and educated in Australia, has extensive training and education, including:
Master of Science in Medicine (Sexual and Reproductive Health) - Psychosexual Therapy (University of Sydney)
Master of Counselling (Monash University)
Master of Laws (Monash University)
Graduate Diploma in Education (La Trobe University)
Graduate Certificate in Forensic Psychology (Curtin University)
Ryan is currently a Doctor of Public Health candidate at La Trobe University.
Ryan is a member of several professional organisations, including the Australian Counselling Association (ACA), the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA), the Australian Professional Association for Trans Health (AusPATH), and the Society of Australian Sexologists (SAS). Ryan is also the Asia Pacific Association of Threat Assessment Professionals (APATAP) Secretary.
Ryan has extensive experience supporting diverse clients, including those from multicultural and multifaith backgrounds. Previously, Ryan was Senior Manager at La Trobe University, where they managed the La Trobe Health and Wellbeing Centre. They currently work as a Forensic Clinical Specialist at Monash University and is a Board Director of Sexual Health Victoria.
